A: I hired a strong guy to carry all my bags.
中文會用一件、兩件來形容行李的數量，但英文的baggage 卻是抽象名詞，不能直接加s。
Q2. Happiness is consisted in contentment. 知足常樂。
A: Happiness consists in contentment.
consist（組成、構成）是不及物動詞，不可用被動式來表現。
Q3. Please come to my place if you are convenient later. 若你方便的話，請待會兒來我家。
A: Please come to my place later if it is convenient for you.
convenient（方便的）不能以「人」為主詞，因此須加入it 當作虛主詞。
Q4. Three of my friends including me will join Mary's birthday party. 除了我以外，還有三位朋友會參加瑪麗的生日派對。
A: Three of my friends besides me will join Mary’s birthday party.
besides（除…之外）相當於in addition to，包括其後所接的名詞；except 則排除其後所接的名詞。
Q5. John often tells yellow jokes in the office. 約翰常常在辦公室裡講黃色笑話。
A: John often tells blue jokes in the office.
yellow 在英文裡並沒有色情的意思，blue 才有「猥褻」的意涵，因此黃色笑話是blue jokes。
